Ethno Portugal on the road
On Sunday 15th of February, some of the components of the Ethno Portugal Orchestra, formed in 2014, will spread the sounds Entrudanças! This day the orchestra starts a-week tour that will lead to various traditional music cities in the country!
Summer Ethno camps
In addition, the second edition of Ethno camp in Portugal is coming!! Apply for it and enjoy with them 10 days of music, sun, excursions in the Alentejo, concerts in Portuguese and Spanish cities and delightful gastronomy. At the end of the camp, you will be able to take part in the biggest Folk Festival on the Iberian Peninsula: the festival Andanças.
Ethno Portugal 2015 is taking place in Castelo de Vide from the 24th July to the 3rd August. They are looking for 40 musicians from all over the world (maximum age: 30 years), with the ability to learn by ear. The musicians should also bring tunes from their country to share during the music workshops.
Dance in Ethno Portugal 2015
This year Ethno camp in Portugal is also looking for 10-12 dancers with experience in any kind of dancing in order to create a performance which will be presented at the shows of the Ethno Orchestra!
